David Clarence Bare

David Clarence Bare, 82, of Wheatland, CA, passed away on September 22, 2023, in Marysville, CA. He was born December 14, 1940, in Shelton, WA.

David is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Chris Bare of Wheatland, CA; sons: Keith Bare, Ken Bare (Kay), Brad Bare (Kat Valentine); daughters: Debra Bare-Rogers (Chris Rogers) and Sandi Gray; siblings: Pat Bare (Peggy) of Kelowna, BC; Rockie Bare (Connie) of Tacoma, WA; Rosemary Clark of Pahrump, NV; ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

David is predeceased by his mother, Coral Olive Crisman Bare; his father, Clarence Donald Bare; his brother, Berl Rustman; and grandson, Jacob Keith Bare.

David attended Irene S. Reed High School in Shelton, Washington, then moved to Missoula, Montana where he graduated from Missoula County High School in 1959. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1959, in addition to other assignments; he served one year in Thailand and one year in Korea. He served 21 years in the Air Force before retiring in 1981.

David was part owner of Sutter Marine in Yuba City for 21 years and retired in 2006.

He was an active member of Grace Episcopal Church in Wheatland.

David had a passion for Bingo, trap shooting, Bingo, salmon fishing, watching "War is Hell" night on TV, spending time with family, playing Bingo, and traveling with his wife in their RV.

Graveside Services will be held at the Wheatland Cemetery on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at Pioneer Hall, at 315 B St., Wheatland.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to Grace Episcopal Church, 610 3rd St., Wheatland, CA 95692.
