We had so much in common: Friends & colleagues; YCUHS; Yuba College; tennis; coaching, and the Hall of Fame. Unfortunately we never met. Was looking forward to meeting him at the next HoF.
We did manage to exchange several E mails.

My deepest sympathies to the entire Dunlop family. Coach Dunlop was my tennis coach from 1978 - 1981 and my U.S. History teacher. I learned much from Coach Dunlop, both as a tennis player and a student. More importantly, he taught me and many others lifelong lessons about what is truly important in life. May you rest in peace, Coach.

Its been 47 year since high school but "Coach Dunlop" will always bring a smile to my face. He coached my sister, Ann and I and our friend, Lisa on the tennis team throughout high school. He truly is one of those teachers that that made a lifelong impression on all those who knew him. My deepest condolences to your family. He was a treasure.

Sincere condolences to Dunlop family. Mr./"Dad" Dunlop taught me history and about kindness in my teenage years. So fortunate to have stayed in touch and learn so much more about his life accomplishments, especially his family of which he was most proud. Thank you for sharing him for all these years.

I knew Dave when he was grading peaches at Lomo Receiving company and I was driving forklift on the slab around 1967/ 1968. He was a very nice man who I enjoyed working with while he put up with some of my shananigans. May he Rest In Peace !
