Debra Phillips Obituary
Born in Pittsburg, CA, Debra was the daughter of Carolyn Lee (Wilgus), and John Ivan Vallenthine, Jr.
She married David Clyde Phillips on October 27, 1973, and together they built a life centered around love, family, and community.
Debra is survived by her husband, David; her children, John David Phillips (Lorie) and Amber Marie Abbott Brousseau (Brian); grandchildren, Melissa Ann Campbell, Louis Paul Campbell, Frank Dodero, Craig James Brousseau (Nicole), Blake Edward Brousseau (Summer), Zackary Dean Brousseau, Miles Allen Brousseau, Hunter David Abbott, and Tanner Alan Abbott; great-grandchildren, Lexi Campbell, Amaya Campbell, Kali Lyn Brousseau, Elsie Jade Brousseau, Bennett Wilson Brousseau, and Leo Frank Dodero.
She is also survived by her sisters, Shelly Marie Lloyd and Teri Jeanne Rummells (Kevin); and their families; her brother-in-law, Norman George "Sandy" Phillips (Shirley); and family.
Debra's life was marked by her devotion to her family and her generous spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 2 PM, at Feather Falls Casino in Oroville, CA. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor her memory.
