Dennis Mitchell Obituary
Dennis Morgan Mitchell started his journey home on February 18, 2017 with family by his side.
Dennis graduated from Williams High School as a feared lineman, where he also held the shot-put record for several years.
Because of his Indian roots, he enjoyed working the land for the majority of his life. Dennis enjoyed playing music with friends, throwing darts with family, fishing with his grandchildren and taking long scenic drives. After 29 years Dennis married the love of his life, Debbie.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Austin Mitchell and Annie Buck, as well as his siblings Ralph Mitchell, Kenneth Mitchell, Lawrence Mitchell, Eugene Mitchell, Maggie Stewart and Mary Infante.
Dennis is survived by his wife Debbie Mitchell; siblings Arnold Mitchell and Sharron Mitchell; his children Dennis Mitchell, Annie Mitchell, Clinton Cole and Erin Ray Mitchell-Landrus; 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10am on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at McNary Moore Funeral Service, 107 5th Street, Colusa, CA with burial following at a later date.
