Donna Goodeill Obituary
Donna Goodeill, 86, of Sutter, died Monday, September 4, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Donna was born on March 20, 1937 in Oakland, CA. She was the daughter of Carl and Dorris Hoffman. She attended Alameda High School. She was employed at Avalon Bay Foods for 15 years.
She met and married Bennett Goodeill Sr. in Oakland on September 21, 1956.
Survivors include her son, Bennett Goodeill Jr., her grandchildren, Walter Sampley, Kandis Sampley and Cody Upton. She is also survived by her son-in-law Robert Upton and 5 great-grandchildren, Walter, McKinley, Levi, Garrett and Kora.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter Anna Upton.
Donna was a sister, daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all that she knew. She loved her family and had a giving spirit and a heart of gold. She will be missed.
