Edward L. Salacup

Edward L. Salacup of Yuba City, CA, born March 19, 1971, passed away October 19, 2025.

Raised in Sutter, CA, Edward graduated from Sutter High in 1989. He went on to become a member of the National Guard and traveled all over the world.

He was stationed in Germany, and visited four continents, including South America, Europe, Asia and North America.

Within the National Guard Edward was able to obtain an Associate Degree in Administration of Justice and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/Accounting from the University of Phoenix.

Earlier in his career Edward was a Probation Officer with Colusa County, a coach counselor at Sierra Ridge Academy, and also coached wrestling at Central Gather, Britten School and surrounding Yuba City Schools.

Edward is preceded in death by his father, Pedro H. Salacup, Marine Corp; and uncle, Mario M. Laguna, Army.

He is survived by his mother, Tina Salacup, of Sutter, CA; and brother, Anthony Salacup (married to Yolanda) of Yuba City, CA.

Graveside burial will be held on November 13, 2025, at 11 AM, at Sutter Cemetery, 7200 Butte Ave, Sutter, CA 95982.
