Everett Conrad Obituary

1953 - 2025

Everett "PeeWee" Conrad, a lifelong resident of Wheatland, CA, passed away on June 9, 2025, at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA, at the age of 71.

Born and raised in Wheatland, CA, PeeWee was truly a son of the land. From a young age, he worked in agriculture and dedicated his life to the industry.

He retired as a Master Mechanic from Bear River Supply in Rio Oso, CA, after 31 years of dedicated service, a role he took great pride in and where he earned deep respect.

PeeWee was known not just for his hard work, but for his heart. He was always up for an adventure, especially if it involved fishing.

Some of his favorite places and most cherished memories were made fishing the Sea of Cortez in Mexico, ice fishing in Minnesota, and of course, adventuring through Alaska.

He also loved quick weekend getaways with his kids and grandkids to explore new cities and experiences. As long as he could find a cold Bud Light, he was happy to be there.

His love for life was simple, genuine, and grounded in the people he cared about most.

He is survived by his son, Cory Conrad; his daughter, Loni Conrad-Geihsler; and his beloved grandchildren, Chase and Mallory Geihsler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise Perkins-Conrad; his sister, Pam Harrison-Minor; his brother, David Conrad; his mother, Betty Guynes-Harrison; and father Ralph Harrison.

PeeWee will be remembered for his hard work, quiet strength, and enduring love for his family and community. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the hands he helped, and the stories still told with a smile.

A Celebration of Life will be held for PeeWee on July 12, 2025, at Pioneer Hall in Wheatland, CA, from 1 PM to 4 PM. Come have one last beer with PeeWee as we celebrate the man he was.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the way he lived, with strength, heart, and a cold one in hand.
