Gordon Burke Obituary
Gordon Burke, 95, of Fallon, Nevada passed away at his residence. Born in Marenisco, Michigan, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 15 years.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years Sarah Burke. four sons, four daughters, 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Memorial services are January 4, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Threshing Floor Ministries, Fallon, Nevada.

Dad-Gordon, Thank You for being a blessing in my life. Growing up I always knew you as a great Father to the kids and a Loving husband to Sarah. Your overflowing love and compassion for others taught me to always have faith and trust in the good. Staying with you and Sarah for a time was where I fell in love with horses. Hanging out with you on the Ranch in Morgan Hill. I remember, you helped me to bring a wild kitten to love which took some patience. In time I learned that was the key to life and love. Your silliness never ceased to make me giggle. You will always be remembered and as always it WAS a pleasure we got to see you again! Happy Trails Cowboy! I love you! Dear Gordon family our love and prayers go out to you! We are asking the good Lord to be your comforter at this time.We were so blessed to have known Gordon he was a very kind man with a big heart and a sense of humor his jokes would make you smile and laugh :) He will be missed here on Earth,but when we all get to heaven what a joy and a blessing it will be to see Jesus and see Gordon again

R.I.P Gordon you are a great Man and Loved by so many Our Hearts go out to the Family in hopes you find comfort in the weeks a head your in Our thoughts and Prayers! I will Always Cherish the good ole times of us Kids and your Dad and my Dad and Sarah and Mom would listen to music and Dance around the back yard and just enjoying life it was good to see the bond our parents shared .. Gordon, its jon. everyday I walked past you and said "hi". you always gave me a "hrumph" but never hi or even a smile. then one day I walked by and said " how you doing today mr burke" on that day you looked at me and said " you bull ride" from that day on I felt privalged to know that I was someone you were interested in knowing.. you may be gone from this earth but YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN BY ME. may you ride those bulls in heaven.RIP to one if the greatest men I know..love you

Gordon was an amazing father, husband, grandpa, uncle, & friend! I've been a part of the family for as long as I can remember. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. I remember him saying, "I'm so glad you got the chance to see me again".
After visits with him and the family. He was at many of my special moments in life & I hold that dear to my heart. I know he's hanging out with my pops paving the way for all his loved ones here on earth. Until we meet again old man! God Bless!
