Dear Stell,
We’re a year late in learning of Hal’s passing. I’m so sorry.
We have spoken affectionately of the two of you so many times over the years . You were so kind to me as we were just starting out.
A year is not so long, especially during the holidays. Please know we are thinking of you and your family with warm affection. Stay safe.

I grew up in Sacramento about 2 blocks from El Camino High School and it's legendary football stadium. The absolute classic American experience of attending a high school football game could not have been better anywhere on the planet than during the time that Mr. Athon was the head coach of the Eagles varsity teams. His leadership and example were inspiration to many, especially the kids at El Camino High.
My heartfelt condolences to the Athon Family.

Connie called me to let me know about Tarz passing away. Thank God for the good memories I have during the 50's flood time. was so glad to see him at the Greek Food Festival at St. Katharine's years ago and remember old times. Eonia ee mnimi
