James Kellison Obituary
James Morris Kellison, of Yuba City, passed away April 11, 2016. Born in Sacramento December 30, 1959, he was a Yuba Sutter resident for 25 years.
He was co-owner of the Diamond Palace. James joined the US Army and was a Warrant Officer - Helicopter Pilot, a Desert Storm Veteran with the 101 First Airborne Division. He received the Army Service Ribbon, Army Good Conduct Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars, Army Aviator Badge, Air Assault Badge and the Army Lapel Button. Prior to joining the Army, Jim spent several years with his dad manufacturing the Kellison Stallion, a limited edition luxury sports car.
James is survived by his wife Lisa Kellison of Yuba City; daughters April Kellison of Yuba City and Hilary Kellison of Sacramento; his mother Sally Kellison Neadeau of Yuba City; brothers David Kellison of Grass Valley, Steve Kellison of Sacramento and Chris Kellison of Yuba City, and sister Robin Kellison of Marysville.
He is preceded in death by his father James Frank Kellison.
Services will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA.
