Loretta Ahner Obituary

Loretta "Lorre" June Ahner died of natural causes on May 11, 2025, at her home in Roseburg, OR.

Lorre was 65 years old. She was born in Yuba City, CA, on March 4, 1960, to Roy and Joyce Ahner.

Lorre spent her early years in Morgan Hill, CA, before moving to Loma Rica, CA, during middle school.

She graduated from Marysville High School in 1978, with honors. She enjoyed baking, concerts, reading, crochet, and spending time with her grandkids.

Lorre was an active member of First Christian Church of Roseburg, OR, and will be missed by her family there.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Ahner; sister, Judy Morgan; and daughter, Jennifer Heffington.

She is survived by her father, Roy Ahner; two brothers, Larry, and Leroy Ahner; her son, Erik Heffington; daughter in law, Amy; and grandchildren, Wyatt and Charlotte Heffington.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Peoria Cemetery 6240 Marysville Rd., Browns Valley, CA.

Immediately following will be a Celebration of her Life with family and friends at the Foothill Lions Club, 5667 Fruitland Rd.

All are welcome, if you would like to bring a dessert or potluck dish, you can drop it off at the lions club prior to the graveside service.

Well wishers are welcome to bring flowers to the graveside, potted flowers or plants preferred, or a donation to the Foothill Lions club in Lorre's honor. Lorre will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is at home with God.
