Lucia Khan Obituary
Born on April 14, 1941, in Brawley, CA, Lucia lived a life filled with love, laughter, and service to others.
She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness and generosity touched all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Phillip, Leslie (Edward), Douglas (Eleanor), Vincent (Karen), and Jason (Shelley); 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carmen Cervantes and Elinore Gutierrez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sahar; parents, Felipe and Maria Cervantez; sister, Anita Cervantez; brother, Raymond Delatorre; granddaughter, Cortney; and daughter-in-law, Sharon.
Lucia dedicated 27 years of hard work at Sunsweet and was an active member of her community.
She volunteered in classrooms, served with the Moose Lodge, gave her time at Gleaners, and participated in the Adopt-a-Highway program. A lifetime blood donor, Lucia truly lived a life of service and compassion.
An avid runner, Lucia completed five full marathons and countless shorter races throughout her life, an inspiring testament to her strength, determination, and spirit.
She will be remembered for her strong work ethic, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 11 AM to 2 PM, at the Yuba City Moose Lodge, 205 S. Walton Ave., Yuba City, CA. This will be a potluck gathering. Please bring a dish and a memory to share as we honor her remarkable life.

Lucy was such a sweet and loving person. I have known the Khan family for many years as I grew up in the Moose Lodge (The Farley Family) I have memories of Lucy and Sahar with The Hafferty family and at Bike around the Buttes where they both volunteered for years. Thoughts and prayers go out to the whole Khan Family. I will miss her smile and our hugs when we would run into each other while in the community. Heaven gained a wonderful Angel

I've known Lucy & the Kahn family as long as I can remember, mostly the older generation (Sahar & Mo as growing up w/my mom Isabel Singh Garcia) my heart is with you all & I will miss sweet Lucy. That older gen is slowly leaving us .

I will miss her beautiful smile and sitting with her at breakfast when we did adopt a hwy..She was always postive and loved everyone..I'm so glad I had the pleasure of knowing her and the famiky..I will miss her but, I'll have the memories
