Mohinder Dhesi Obituary
Our beloved, Mohinder Kaur Dhesi, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 14, 2017. She was 71 years old.
She was born in the village of Cheema Kalan located in Punjab, India to parents Pritam Singh and Amar Kaur Cheema. Mohinder was the eldest of four children.
Mohinder Kaur married Mohan Singh Dhesi in India. They immigrated to the United States in 1978 with their three young children. They settled in Yuba City and it was here they began their new life together.
She leaves behind a devoted family; Jaswinder Dhugga (son-in-law Arvinder), Parmjit Kahlon (son-in-law Kamaljeet), and Devinder (daughter-in-law Jeavan); her brother Amrik Cheema and sisters Baldish Sandhu and Tej Bloom. Mohinder had seven grandchildren, all of whom she adored: Avi, Amit, Aron, Maneek, Devin, Ajay, and Amreen.
Mohinder will be remembered as a woman who loved her family and friends. Those who knew her well will miss her positive outlook on life and her kindness and forgiveness towards everyone. She will be forever remembered in our hearts.
Prayers services will start at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 20th, 2017 at Ullrey Memorial Chapel. Cremation will follow at Ullrey Memorial Chapel crematory. Final prayers will follow at Tierra Buena Sikh Temple, Yuba City
