Nancy Doolittle Obituary

Nancy Ann Doolittle, 59, of Sutter, CA, passed away peacefully in the arms of her sweetheart after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Nancy was born March 12, 1964, to Leroy and Charletta Howington in Vallejo, CA. She was a graduate of Lower Lake High School and attended Yuba College.

Nancy had a deep love for her family. She is survived by her eternal companion of 33 years, Dave Doolittle Jr.; her daughters, Rachel Doolittle and Megan Campbell; her son-in-law, Dallan Campbell; and the light of her life, her grandson, Hudson Campbell. Nancy is also survived by her mom, Charletta Howington; and her sister, Linda Howington. She is preceded in death by her dad, Leroy Howington.

Nancy was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was strengthened by her faith in her Savior Jesus Christ. She was passionate about family history and genealogical research. She served as a volunteer service missionary focusing on genealogy and indexing research for 2.5 years including while she went through radiation and 10 rounds of chemo treatments.

Nancy had a talent for crocheting and sewing and loved to bless others with her talents. She had made and donated over 200 baby hats, blankets, and wash cloths to hospitals and homeless shelters in California and Idaho to help those in need.

Nancy was a light and a joy to others. She loved to serve and make others happy even in the midst of her fight with cancer. She inspired many with her positivity and she spread sunshine wherever she went. She will be deeply missed and always remembered until we meet again.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 6, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building located at 520 Clark Ave., Yuba City, CA 95991. An open viewing will be held from 10-10:45am with the funeral following at 11:00am.

I´m so sorry for your loss. I remember when my parents were giving you both lessons of the gospel. You were the first to be baptized for them and they were so proud. I know they were there with open arms to welcome her home. May you get comfort in the knowledge knowing we will be together eternally. God bless you and your family. Denise (Bergstrom) Berg.

I´m so sorry to hear of Nancy´s passing.
Nancy and I worked together at Grocery Outlet. We became fast friends. She had such a great sense of humor and a heart of gold.
May God bless your family.
