Robert Romero Obituary
Robert R. "Rod" Romero, Jr., 58, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, passed away on his 58th birthday, August 25, 2022.
Robert was born on August 25, 1964, to Nancy L. (LeFevre) and Robert R. "Babe" Romero, Sr. of Yuba City, CA. After graduating from Yuba City High School in 1982, Robert attended college at California State University, Chico. He went on to attend the University of Idaho Law school in Moscow, Idaho, where he met lifelong friends.
After graduation, Robert landed his first job as a Public Defender for Kootenai County, Idaho, where he worked for several years before entering private practice.
Robert was a force of nature, passionate not only about his work but also about history, politics, antiques, reading and his kid's sporting events. Robert loved to watch his kids compete. He loved family vacations that often included his parents. He enjoyed summers traveling to California to connect with parents, family and friends while watching his kids play in the pool.
Robert was predeceased by his mother, Nancy Romero. Robert is survived by his father, Robert R. "Babe" Romero, Sr.; his brother, Randy Romero-Courier; his children, Robert R. "Roddy" Romero III, and Jake Romero; along with Jennifer Romero, the children's mother. Robert leaves behind several close friends both in Idaho and in California.
There will be a Celebration of Life at The Harvest Room, 1475 Tharp Road, Yuba City, CA, on Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Donations to Sutter Buttes Land Trust Foundation, PO Box 3359, Yuba City, CA 95992-3359 in Rod's name, would be appreciated.

Randy I'm so sorry for your brother's passing. I remember he would occasionally let you use his little blue truck to drive me home down Peachtree lane. He was a great guy. I'm sorry to hear of your mom's passing too. Big hugs and prayers for you. Love you my friend.
