Ron Coleman

Ron Coleman, beloved family man and loyal friend, passed away on October 3, 2025, at home in Penn Valley, CA, surrounded by loved ones.

Born in 1952, raised in rough-and-tumble Linda, CA, Ronnie was an award winning athlete at Marysville High School, class of '70.

He went on to become a respected local builder and contractor for more than 40 years, known for being a hard worker and a straight shooter.

Beyond work, RC liked live music, a good Niners game or a trip to Baja.

He was a born storyteller, a risk taker, and a lucky dice roller who could light up any room he walked into. His laughter and larger-than-life presence drew people in, and his big heart kept them close.

More recently, Papa Ron enjoyed simple things, toothpicks, bbq's with family, and caring for the wild animals that gathered daily in what he lovingly called his "wild kingdom."

He is survived by his brother, Earl; daughter, Sarah; son-in-law, Akim; and cherished grandson, Judah.

Ron is preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, and Butch; and loving parents, Pauline, and CW Coleman.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Casa Carlos in Marysville, CA, on November 6, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
