Sharon Almond Obituary
Sharon Ann Almond, 72, passed away June 23, 2016 in her home, surrounded by her family. She was a homemaker and community volunteer and lived in Rio Oso, CA for 41 years. She served on the Browns Elementary School Board for 18 years, was a volunteer including President (1998) of the Rideout Memorial Hospital Auxiliary – Pink Ladies for 9 years, and was a member of the Wheatland Community Fellowship Church.
Sharon is survived by her husband, James Almond of Rio Oso; daughters, Kathy (Rich and granddaughters, Stephanie and Nicole) Fentzke of Rocklin and Karen (granddaughter Ashley and grandson Jonathan) Almond of Rio Oso; son, Thomas (Jodie, granddaughters Kayley and Korrie, and grandson Alex) Almond of Rio Oso; sister, Deborah (Don) Borcher of Carlsbad; brothers, Thomas (Liz) Little of Martinez, Arthur (Carol) Little of Danville, and Timothy Little of Clear Lake Oaks; sister-in- law, Cindy Little-Wright of Vienna, Virginia; and her cherished cousins, nephews, and nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Donna Little; her brother, John Little; and her sister-in-law, Vicki Little.
The family warmly welcomes all to a Celebration of Life for Sharon on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 11 am at the Wheatland Community Center (101 C Street in Wheatland). The ceremony will be officiated by Pastor John Burns, and lunch will be served following the program.
