Terrill Ray Obituary


Terrill James "Blue" Ray, of Olivehurst, CA, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Terrill was born in Medford, Oregon, to the late Kenneth and Patricia Ray. Terrill served in the United States Air Force and later worked as an accomplished construction contractor and builder.

Terrill was survived by his wife, Penny Ray; his son, Kellen Ray; his son, Kyle Ray and his wife Jennifer Ray; his stepchildren, Matthew Guise and Amanda Zuniga; his brother, two sisters, and 8 grandchildren.

Terrill was an avid baseball fan and wrote a book on the subject. He spent many years as an umpire where he coined his nickname "Blue." He loved hunting, golf, and was a proud American Patriot.

A Celebration of Life will take place at The American Legion Post 807, 5477 Feather River Blvd., Olivehurst, CA on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

A good friend that we spent many deer hunting seasons with. Terrill would always answer a question with "cool breeze". He was a good friend and always cherished his two sons. Thanks for the memories Terriil. Rest in peace, my friend.. May you always be surrounded by a cool breeze.
