Wesley Lowe Obituary

Wesley Laverne Lowe Wesley Laverne Lowe, 93, passed away at his home in Grass Valley on March 16, 2009. Born August 20, 1915 in Atwater, CA to his parents Forrest and Alice Lowe. Wesley married Eleanora Watkins in June 1938, who passed away in 1982. He later married Grace Thomas in 1984. He graduated from Yuba Junior College. Wesley was employed with Lockhead in Los Angeles, and was involved in the assembly of Amelia Earhart's airplane. He owned a 100 acre farm in Marysville, CA. His hobbies included flying, traveling, and reading. Survivors include his wife Grace of Grass Valley; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Paul & Beverly Bevelhymer of Nevada City, Walter & Jeanette White of Nevada City, Jay & Patricia Cooper of Grass Valley; 3 step-daughters & sons-in-law, Forrest & Diana Paul, Paul & Ruth Pirolo, and Judi Needham; 5 grandchildren, Donna Langston, Tammy Williams, Steven Bevelhymer, Philip Cooper, Karen Andersen; sisters Trudi Mohl and Eldora Merola; 10 step-grandchildren and 31 Great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife Eleanora Lowe in 1982, and granddaughter Tanya Glass in 2003. Memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the Bethany University. Private burial will be held.
