I only had the privilege of meeting Mr. Baxter once at his home in Ardmore, but he was a warm and generous person whom I admired. His daughter, Cynthia is my best friend and since we live in different states, it is very hard being away from her at this time. I carry her and her family in my heart and know that they find comfort In the fact that he is now rejoined with his beloved wife Mary and also in the hands of his lord.

James was a faithful member of our Sunday Services at the Veterans Center and our Monday Bible Stories group. He loved Jesus. He loved to sing, and he told the best stories. We will miss Jim very much, but we rejoice that he is in the presence of God.
