LARRY KENT KYLE Graveside services for Larry Kent Kyle, 65, of Ardmore, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Newport cemetery with Bro. David Gardner officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson. Larry was born November 20, 1957, at Ardmore to the late Mr. Othel Cleve Kyle and Mrs. Ramona (Groomer) Kyle. He departed this life Friday, October 27, 2023, at his home in Ardmore. Larry was raised in Ardmore, attending school at Plainview Public Schools, where he graduated High School with the class of 1976. He married the love of his life, the former Ms. Helen Cryer on February 25, 1977, at Ardmore. Larry was employed with the Chickasaw Telephone Company as a Cable Locator for 33 years, retiring at the young age of 55 years old. He also spent many years breaking and riding mules and horses for people and for sale and trade. Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and riding around his home place. He was a homebody and enjoyed most of his retirement there on his land. Preceding him in death are his parents; brother, Eddie Kyle; niece, Belinda McClendon; very special friend, Jerry Nutter. Survivors include his wife, Helen of the home; sons, Kendel Kyle and wife, Rosanna and Kody Kyle all of Lone Grove; sisters, Shirley McClendon and husband Royce and Donna Gothard and husband Eddie all of Lone Grove; grandchildren, Haleigh Kyle, Kenzi Kyle, Haidyn Kyle, Braylee Kyle, Joshua and Jacie; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Lee Gothard, Ben Woods, Steven Summers, Chris Taylor, Danny McClendon, and Bo Foster. Honorary bearers are Joshua Calderon, Eric Clark, Jeremy Landeros, and Ivron McClendon. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday evening at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson.
