MARY ELIZABETH COPELAND Mary Elizabeth Copeland, age 75, went to her heavenly home Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Ardmore. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2025, in The Chapel at Griffin ~Hillcrest with Pastor Gary Gunsolus officiating. Services will conclude in the chapel. Mary was born at Ardmore on April 13, 1950, to L.W. Copeland and Annie Elizabeth (Kuykendall) Copeland. She attended and graduated from Ardmore High School. After graduating high school, she worked for Marietta Pants Factory and then went to work for Cooks Laundry until her health forced her to retire. She enjoyed making doll clothes for her nieces and she liked to crochet and embroidery. She took care of and helped raise her youngest brother's children and some of the grandchildren. She enjoyed going to church and teaching Sunday school for young children. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Coleman Brown, James Copeland, Oscar Copeland, and Charles Copeland. Mary is survived by her sister, Stella Bradley and numerous nieces and nephews. Condolences may be left at www.griffinhillcrest.com.
