HEATH BROADSTONE It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Heath Broadstone who left us too soon at the age of 41. As the youngest member of our family, his calm and laid-back demeanor brought a comforting feeling to our lives, and he showcased his love for his family with his playful and passive heart. As a devoted stay-at-home dad, he wholeheartedly embraced his role, lovingly taking on the responsibility of homeschooling his two children from the beginning of their educational journey. This was Heath's sole focus and was his world. Heath, the son of Roger Broadstone and the late Nikki Abbott, leaves behind two sons, Kale and Tauren Broadstone; as well as sisters Vanessa Simmons (Steven) and Mandy Verwey (Lucas). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Brieanna and Alexzander Simmons, Justice Gower, Shania Simmons, Liberty and America Gower, Skyler Simmons, and Jaxen Verwey. As the only son in his family, Heath leaves behind a legacy for the "Broadstone name" through his two vibrant and energetic boys, Kale and Tauren. May Heath's memory live on in the hearts of those who loved him, especially the hearts of his boys; forever cherished and deeply missed. A celebration of life for Heath will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street, Midland. Pastor Jim Payne will officiate. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider his boys, taken in the care of his sisters Mandy Verwey and Vanessa Simmons.
