MICHAEL WILGA

MICHAEL WILGA STANDISH - Michael Todd Wilga, age 64, husband and son, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at MediLodge of Montrose. Mike was born on September 28, 1958, in AuGres, MI, to Ralph & Patricia (Flowers) Wilga. He married Colleen Henderson on August 28, 1982, in Bentley, MI. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sports, especially football and NASCAR. He also loved playing football in high school and graduated from Arenac Eastern in 1977. When Mike wasn't driving truck, he loved to be out on the water in his boat and fishing with his friends. He is survived by his wife Colleen of 40 years, mother Patricia Wilga, and three brothers; Ralph (Rosalie) Wilga, Mark (Chris) Wilga and Paul (Tina) Wilga; son Matthew (Sarah) Lemmer, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, a brother Patrick Wilga, a sister Karen Lachcik, mother-in-law Barbara Henderson, and grandparents Herman & Regina Wilga, and John & Nellie Flowers. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 11:00 am at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Standish Chapel with Pastor Burton Kincaid presiding with burial at Clayton Township Cemetery. Family and friends may visit the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Standish Chapel on Monday, from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm. On Tuesday Mike will lie in state from 10:00 am until time of service. Lunch will be served afterward at the Free Methodist Church Hall in Standish, MI. The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to all the family and friends that offered prayers and thoughts for Michael these past few months.
