Carol Sambo Obituary
Carol Sambo, 68, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015, at the Dougherty Hospice House.
Carol Molde, daughter of Melvin and Mildred Molde, was born on October 24, 1947, in Wessington Springs, SD. She grew up in Mitchell, SD, and received her education. Carol attended Dakota Wesleyan University and graduated with a Bachelor Degree in 1969.
Carol was united in marriage with Allen Sambo on February 18, 1977. Carol joined the United States Naval Reserve in 1979 and served for four years before being honorably discharged. They were blessed with their daughter Cara in 1982. Carol worked for the Unified Judicial System in Mitchell, SD for 18 years followed by many years working for the State of South Dakota Department of Social Services.
Carol was a hard worker who loved caring for animals. She liked to spend time gardening and discussing politics.
Grateful for having shared her life are her daughter Cara Sambo and Mike Nadolski, Worthing, SD; sister Donna Lang, Mitchell, SD; nephew Adam (Jessica) Lang; niece Cori (Bud) Goldammer; Cara's father Allen Sambo and his daughter Brianne Sambo; Cara's grandmother Bernice Sambo; and many other relatives and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will be present to greet friends from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Miller Funeral Home, 507 South Main Ave, Sioux Falls, SD. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, November 29, 2015, at Zion Lutheran Church, 1400 South Duluth Ave, Sioux Falls, SD.

I worked with Carol at Harms Charters. She was alwAys so positive and helpful. She was a lot of fun. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.
