Sioux Falls - Daniel A. Roach, 63, of Sioux Falls, SD, died Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Visitation with family present to greet friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 21 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, Sioux Falls. Following the visitation a celebration of life will be held at the Alibi on Arrowhead Parkway and Six Mile Road in Sioux Falls. Additional obit and online guestbook at www.georgeboom.com
Survivors include his daughter, Sarah Miller and children, Nolan and Kaiah of Sioux Falls; sons, Eric (Dawn Kerher) and daughter, Madison, Jared (Sara) and children, Haley and Ainsley, and Adam (Samantha) and children, Edward and Evelyn all of Sioux Falls; siblings, Doug Roach of Sioux Falls, Jana Schmiesing of Sioux Falls, and Bonnie (Dave) Hass of San Diego, CA; nephew, James (Arianna) Schmiesling of Sioux Falls; and niece, Melissa (Troy) Haaland of Sioux Falls.

Our families grew up together. We had a lot of fun when we were kids. I will never forget the pheasant hunting trip out at our farm I'm sure Doug won't either. Then there were all the good times at the racetrack. Special memories of our childhood. Dan will be missed by many.

I knew Dan Roach since the 2nd grade, we went to Franklin Elementary School, Whittier Junior High School and graduated May 30, 1974 from Lincoln High School.
He was a friend of mine for many years, he will be deeply missed by me. My sympathy goes to all his family members: his brother and 2 sisters and all of his children. May he rest in peace and be in a much better place. Thank you Dan for all the memories. Your Life Long Friend, Brent
