I don't know you or your family but I saw a clip on Facebook about the generous neighboring farmers who helped out after David's passing. I grew up in Platte, SD and my Dad and brother still farm there. This story really touched my heart. Sympathies to you and your family.

My deepest condolences to your entire family. My Dad farms nearly 4000 acres of corn in Colorado and I can't imagine it running without him. Sorry for your grief. May God comfort each and every one of you, today, and forever.

We've never met but I read your story on KELO about the farmers helping out and Dave's accident. You have my sincerest sympathy and prayers. I just lost my 28 year old brother, Adam Wirtz, 42 days ago in a farming accident and it's been so hard. Every day of harvest is a painful reminder. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know there are no words that can change it, fix it, or make it better.
