Gary McFarlane Obituary
Gary L. McFarlane, 80, passed away June 26, 2016 at Good Samaritan Rehabilitation Village in Sioux Falls, SD. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 30 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Sioux Falls, SD. Family present visitation will be 5-7 PM, Wednesday, June 29 at George Boom Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Sioux Falls, SD, followed by a prayer service and rosary at 7:00 PM.
Gary is survived by his wife, Marilyn McFarlane; two daughters, Cheri (Chip) Hortness and Jodi (Stan) Gebhart, all of Sioux Falls, SD; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Verne and Gertrude; two brothers, Glen and Russ McFarlane; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. www.georgeboom.com

Gary was such a softy, I loved that about him. I always knew if I needed help with anything I could count on him to either show me or tell me how!! I am thinking of how he teased me about how I painted at the lake, I guess I was doing it alllll wrong according to Gary's world!! I love him so much and will miss seeing him, but he will always be in my heart and memories. Say hi to dad up there!! Love ya
