Genevieve Isakson Obituary
Genevieve Isakson, A former Iowa and South Dakota resident, who was a sister-in-law of a Sioux Falls resident, died May 2, 2015, at her daughter's home at Mustang, OK.
Genevieve (Jenny) Suer Isakson, 90, long-time resident of Duncombe, IA, and a sister-in-law of Joe Isakson, 3430 S Sheldon Lane, Sioux Falls.
Jenny was born at Coalville, IA, March 16, 1925. She and her family moved to Burbank, CA in 1937. She married Alvin L. Isakson in Pasadena, CA in 1944. They then returned to South Dakota to farm. In 1951 they began farming at Duncombe, IA.
Jenny leaves her husband, Alvin, 95; a daughter, Kathryn (James) Spurlin, Mustang; a son, Ronald, of Illinois, and a host of relatives and friends in Iowa, South Dakota, and Kansas.
Services will be held Monday afternoon, May 11, 2015, at the Bruce Funeral Home in Ft. Dodge, IA. Burial will be in McGuire Bend Cemetery, at rural Lehigh, IA.
