Janet Buseman

Janet Buseman, 65, died suddenly on January 13, 2013 at her Viborg home. She was born in Viborg in 1948 and grew up attending school, graduating from Viborg High in 1966. She graduated from Sioux Falls College with a teaching degree. She had been married to Russel Heibult. In 1997 she married Dennis Buseman. Janet was a Head Start teacher for over 23 years before retiring in 2013. Survivors are her husband Dennis; three children: Kristie (Bill) Beck, Temecula, CA, Lonnie (Angi) Heibult, Sioux Falls and Jennifer (Ryan) Sawchuk, Seattle, WA; six grandchildren; step-daughter, Dawn Buseman and two step-grandchildren, siblings: Donald (Debbie) Pederson, Viborg and Sonja (Larry) Daggett, Tea. Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Hurley. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday at Dindot-Klusmann Funeral Home, Lennox with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Online go to dindotklusmann.com

I worked with Janet as a Home Base Visitor in Head Start. She was the sweetest person and truly cared about people. Janet was so proud of her family. My sympathy to your family.

Janet was amazing with our son, Jeffrey. She came to our house and we did so many fun learning games. Alway so sweet and kind. Janet will be deeply missed.
