Maria Ceretti Obituary
Maria Ceretti, 65 of Sioux Falls, SD, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 29, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Center.
Grateful for having shared his life are his brothers Steven Ceretti and his wife Jane, Sioux Falls, SD, Joe Ceretti and his wife Michelle, Rapid City, SD; sister Catherine She and her husband Stephen, Paso Rables, CA; nephews Alan Ceretti, Jacksonville, FL, Peter Ceretti and his wife Trish, Abington, PA, Anthony Muler and his wife Angie, Sioux Falls, SD, Scott Ceretti, Warner Robins, GA; several great nephew and nieces; 2 great great nieces Isabella & Ainsley; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin at 8 am with the family present to greet friends from 5 to 7 pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home, 13th & Main. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at the Sacred Heart Chapel at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with burial at Bear Butte Cemetery at a later date.

Maria and I took "library classes" together at Sioux Falls college. In later years she was a librarian at WHS and I was a librarian LHS. Maria was a caring, delightful colleague. I, too, still have the Christmas ornament that she made for me. My deepest sympathy to all her family. She loved you.

Maria was a fun person to teach with and have lunch with at Memorial Middle School. Each year I was the lucky recipient of an ornament that she made while she was at MMS. The year my son was in Iraq she made a special one--I was thinking of her yesterday as I hung it on the tree. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I remember Maria fondly from her days at the Washington High School library. She was a great person, good worker. I still have the rock she gave me.
