I was sad to hear of Marilyn's passing. I have so many fond memories of our childhood together, too many to mention. One of the fondest was going to her house and playing after school before Junior choir practice. So much fun with Marilyn and her family. My sympathy to Jim and Brad and to the rest of her family. I pray for the peace that passes all understanding at this sad time for her family.

Marilyn was the interim Executive Director when I was hired by Family Connection in 2012. She continued to share her time, talents and loving spirit as part of our Board of Directors. I feel very blessed to have known her. She will continue to be an "angel" to so many.

Dear Marilyn,
How sad I am to read you have passed, but you have graduated to heaven and are now with family that have gone before you.
Jim and Brad,
What a loss you have to deal with, but also fortunate to have had her!! Just because you cannot reach out and touch her doesnt mean you have lost all the love she gave you. I have learned the bridge between life and death is love and I remember how much she loved you both!! You know what a wonderful human she was. I, too, know that. She was my supervisor at Citi in the IT department and was just great to work for!! Even though I had almost twenty years on her, she treated me with respect and it was appreciated. She always knew when to be a supervisor and when to be a friend. A rare feat indeed!! Im sure there is a very special place for her in heaven.

Jim - I am sorry for your loss - from reading the loving remembrances it is indeed a great loss for you, your son and the many who shared her life. Will remember you in prayer. Susan Chamberlin

Jim and Brad,
Dave and I are extremely sorry to read about Marilyn's passing. Please know that you are both in our thoughts and prayers. Unfortunately, we are out of the country and unable to attend her service. In the future, please let me know if I can do anything for either one of you.
Many years ago Marilyn was a paraprofessional for me when I was teaching in Vermillion. I'm not sure that I ever had the opportunity to tell you that story.

Jim and family - Marilyn's desk was right next to mine for a few years at Citi in Sioux Falls. She never failed to brighten a day. That smile greeting me in the morning was so infectious! I was also fortunate to work with her delivering some leadership classes. She was always so prepared, and was really good about giving me feedback after classes. She really was a wonderful colleague and friend. I live in Tennessee now, and won't be able to be there with you on Friday - but I will be thinking of you all in the days ahead, and I will be there with you in spirit at the services. God be with you all.

Dear Jim, Brad and all of Marilyn's family,
We are in Arizona until April 20 so we will be unable to attend services for her in person, but our hearts will be right there with you as you celebrate her wonderful life! We have so many fond
memories of our backyard volley ball games and potlucks - each time we played we called it "The Championship of the Known Universe"!!
We send our hugs to all of you until we are back in Sioux Falls and able give them to you in person!
