Robert Richard Laskowski

Born in Amery, Wisconsin on March 30, 1943, to Richard and Hulda Laskowski. Attended Turtle Lake High School and Brown Institute in MN. He married Sandi Mudloff on April 11, 1964. They had two children, Kim Bowles of Dayton, OH and Chris Laskowski of Ramsey, MN. Laskowski was a sportscaster for KLIB radio in Liberal, KS; KTTT radio in Columbus, NE; and KHAS radio in Hastings, NE. He spent most of his career in radio and TV in Rapid City, SD at KOTA, KEVN and KTOQ where he won 7 South Dakota Sportscaster of the Year awards. He and Sandi moved to Sioux Falls in 2005 where he continued his broadcast career. He was elected to the South Dakota Sports Hall of Fame in 2015. He was a member of St. Gerard's Church in Brooklyn Park, a lector and Knights of Columbus member (3rd degree).

Survived by wife of 52 years Sandi, Daughter Kim Bowles (Eric Marsh) of Dayton, OH; son Chris Laskowski (Stephanie) of Ramsey, MN; 7 grandchildren (Tyson, Devin, Nathan, Abby, Hannah, Erika, Alton) and 2 great-grandchildren (Kali, Maleia).
