Shirley Ann Koisti

Armour - Shirley Ann Koisti, 73, died January 16. 2014 at Golden Living Center in Armour SD. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 19, 2014 at 12:00 PM at St.Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Armour. There will be a private family burial at a later date. Arrangements by Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Armour.

Shirley Koisti was born in Wagner, SD on July 15, 1940 to Dice & Arietta (Shearer) Hawley. She graduated from Lake

Norden High School in 1958. She then married Dale Koisti, who died December 19, 1983. Her passion and love were raising and showing Cocker

Spaniel dogs. She and Dale raised and bred dogs that were shown throughout the United States. Shirley Koisti died on

January 16, 2014 after a courageous and valiant 30 year battle with multiple sclerosis at Golden Living Center in

Armour, SD with her son by her side.



She is survived by her son, Shawn (Mary) Koisti, daughter, Candice Augustine (Sabo-Clegg), grandchildren, Kyle Koisti,

Brittney & Joe Sabo, and Garrett & Derek Clegg. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Jolene Johnson, Mary Mimmick and

Bonnie Nessan, and multiple nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Koisti, and parents, Dice and Arietta Hawley.



Shirley will attend her last Hawley reunion in June of this year where her ashes will by laid to rest with her husband

Dale.
