Tessa Jacobs Obituary
Sioux Falls - Tessa Jean Jacobs, of Sioux Falls, graduated life and went to heaven on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Tessa was 34.
Tessa Jean Jacobs was born December 23, 1983 in Sioux Falls, SD to Don and Terry Jacobs. She graduated from Accelerated High School in Denver, Colorado in 2002. She was currently employed and loved her job at Advanced Travel in Sioux Falls. Tessa was continuing her education and would graduate in June with a degree in Plant Base Science Nutrition from Cornell.
Tessa enjoyed traveling, hiking, the outdoors and nature. She was kind-hearted and had a passion for healing others and helping animals. She enjoyed volunteering at animal shelters and loved fostering ill animals. Tessa participated in many fundraisers including walks, she visited residences in various nursing homes, and made meals for people, always helping and serving others exemplifying John 13:14-17.
Tessa loved her family, cherished her friends, and lived a life of deep integrity. Her sense of humor brightened the ordinary. Tessa was generous, kind-hearted, loyal, trustworthy, wise, supportive, loving, funny, and optimistic.
Grateful for having shared her life are her loving parents, Don and Terry Jacobs; cherished brothers, Chad and Travis Jacobs; dear nieces, Anita Jacobs and Isabella Clayton; many aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved dearly; so many special friends from many different countries; and her two cats, Coco and Stella. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Darlene Jacobs and Lyle and Darlene Bird.
Tessa's favorite flower is the tulip, when you see the tulip may you be reminded of her love for you.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to any Sioux Falls Liberty National Bank to T-n-T Healing. - Travis and Tessa Jacobs have dedicated their lives to helping anyone, anywhere heal. They had a dream to start a program to pass on the gifts of healing so many people have shared with them. T-n-T Healing helps people walk through their pain and embrace the adventure life has waiting for all of us. All donations up to $100,000. are being matched by two anonymous Sioux Falls businessmen to continue Tessa's legacy.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Friday, June 1, 2018 and a visitation from 5:00 - 7:00 Thursday evening at Central Church, 3100 W. Ralph Rogers Road, Sioux Falls, SD 57108. www.millerfh.com

I was lucky enough to know Tessa as we worked together at Soma. She will forever be a bright shining star. We both shared a love for animals and especially cats, I know Stella and Coco are missing her immensely. Thinking and praying for all of you.

Dear Terry, Don and Family,
We at Sanford Hospice send our love and condolences to you. I didn't have the privilege of knowing Tessa, but the world is much dimmer without her... her life sounds beautiful and she made a difference every day. You and God created a wonderful person, and for that you can be so proud. She is in good hands, but I know the days and years to come you will forever miss her. I'm so glad you had one another.

Tessa, you are so very special to me! I will miss you every day. You always were such a joy to be with. I can honestly say that I have never met anyone that was so very caring of others, so selfless, there are so many wonderful qualities about you that I would need pages to list! I know that you are in God's arms right now, and smiling and happy.
