I was sorry to hear of Tom's passing, I was just up in Prinsburg this winter at Central Minnesota Christian for a basketball game and wandered the halls and found Tom's graduation picture, smiling... always smiling. I recall the family gatherings where Tom would walk in with a smile or a joke to share, he will be forever missed. May God comfort you all during this sorrowful time. God Bless you All.

Tommy was always so full of fun. We just got to reconnect during the 4th of July celebration last year. Thinking about him wandering off to Uncle Everett and Aunt Minnie's makes me smile. I'm sure they loved it even more than he did. I'm so sorry Dorothy, Vonna & Tim, and Sue and families. Wish we could make it for one of the celebrations but don't think we will be able to. Hugs and many, many prayers go out to all of you.

Words could never do justice to tell you how much I am so sorry for the loss of Tom I will keep your family in my prayers always and if there's one thing I could say to offer the slightest bit of condolence it would be that I know one day, when we're all in heaven, everything will make perfect sense, but until then we all must help one another to hold on to our faith. Through my prayers, I hope to help you all do that. I pray that Jesus holds you all in the palm of his hand and protects and guides you through this time. God Bless and Love to You All ~Brian Helmbrecht

I knew Tom from our Argus Leader days. We laughed a lot cuz I never understood accounting and it frustrated him. (haha). We were Roosevelt parents together & often shared stories of our kids. He was a very proud papa! I'm so sorry for your loss. I last saw Tom last June at our daughters wedding and of course he was all smiles and we loved seeing each other. May God wrap his arms around all his family and comfort you.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Tom was one of my favorite coworkers of all time. I will never forget traveling with him to St George Utah. We ventured out and ended up in the tiny town of Beaver Dam AZ. We ate at the Dam Restaurant and had a drink at the Dam Bar. He always made boring trips like that fun. He will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of Tom. Tom was my boss when I worked at the Argus Leader, after leaving I would reach out to him for his wisdom. He always knew the right words to say, he was an excellent mentor and friend. I am honored to have known him. He always used the phrase "It is what it is." Over the years I have caught my self saying that phrase and always thought of him. His laugh was infectious. I would run into Tom mostly at some out door concert and he always had a smile. Tom was there for me when I went through a challenging period in my life and for that I have always be grateful. Rest in Peace my friend I will miss you.
