Troy Lacey Obituary
Troy Lacey, 55, of Sioux Falls, passed away on February 21, 2016 at Dougherty Hospice in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 26 at 2 pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. A Celebration of Life will begin at CJ Callaway's Event Center at 5 pm with family present at 6 pm Friday evening. Visitation with family present will be held from 6 - 7 pm on Thursday, also at the funeral home.
Troy Lacey was born to Frank and Luella (Haugan) Lacey on December 23, 1960 in Sioux Falls, SD. He lived and attended school in Brandon through the 8th grade. The family then moved to Salem and he graduated from Salem High School.
Troy loved riding his Harley Davidson and also enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially the Vikings and Twins.
Troy is survived by: his daughters, Laura Lacey and her daughter, Olivia of Apple Valley, MN, and Ali Lacey of Hartford; parents, Frank and Luella Lacey of Salem; and siblings, Eric (Liz) Lacey of Sioux Falls, Tait (Jenn) Lacey of Canistota, and Leigh (Brian) Paweltzki of Bridgewater; his girlfriend, Kari Swartos of Sioux Falls; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brent.
