Rebecca Jane Ward age 79 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025 in the Alleghany Memorial Hospital.
Rebecca was born in Galax, Virginia on September 21, 1946 to Lonnie Woodrow and Iva Rose Williams Ward.
She is survived by two sisters Barbara Haliburton of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Margaret Hebert of St. Louis, Missouri; two nieces Laura Snyder of California; Lee Parker of North Carolina; two nephews Hal Hebert of Texas and Windell Hebert of St. Louis, Missouri.
There will be no services held for Rebecca at this time.

Ow Jane you was so dear to me, if I had only knew you would have been taken so soon I would have visited more often and gave you a big bear hug!!
