I had the privilege of having Mr Mount freshman-junior year and was so sad he retired because it was such an impactful teacher. Mr Mount was very patient and kind and also had a way of making the class laugh through challenging lessons (especially in calculus class) one thing I´ll never forget is when he wore his checkered shirt and stood in front of the projector with graph paper on it and said, "no you see me, now you can´t" as he turned it on. He made a lasting impact on how I strive to be as I teach the kids I work with new and challenging skills.
