Katherine Judy Obituary
May 30, 1948 - July 16, 2025
Kathy was born May 30, 1948 and grew up on the family farm outside Vale. After high school she attended college in Texas where she met her future husband. She married on August 24, 1965, on the family farm in Vale. She then moved back to Texas, then to Ohio. She moved back to the Treasure Valley in 1972. Kathy reared three children and helped run her husband's many businesses. Kathy became a realtor, was very successful and loved her work. She and her husband retired and moved just outside Vale on a small acreage. Kathy loved to travel, cook, fish, and go camping. Kathy lost her battle with diabetes on July 16th. Kathy will be greatly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, one great-grandchild and friends.

Kathy was a dear friend and business partner and I will miss her so munch. I will forever remember her wonderful laugh and her love of antiques and neon green. She was one of the most intelligent people I have ever known and she truly cared about other people. She helped so many get into a home when they never thought they would be able to. I´ll miss you my friend .

I met Kathy when I started my real estate career, she had listings from the unsaleable to the most prestigious and somehow maintained a professionalism to treat them equally, she was a great mentor and colleague, R.I.P.

I met Kathy when I was first working at the Argus Observer. I saw her as a strong, smart woman and admired her for speaking her mind and not backing down.
I´ve always enjoyed catching up whenever we would run into one another at a community event over the years.
May you rest in peace, Kathy.

I am so sad to hear this...Kathy and I did Girl Scouts together when our kids were young. I enjoyed her enthusiasm in life and most recently enjoyed her via Facebook connection. Sincere condolences to her family.
