Louise Jorgensen Obituary
Louise Marie Jorgensen, age 87, of Fruitland, Idaho and previously 54 year resident of Ontario, Oregon went to be with the lord on October 23, 2025.
Louise was born July 20, 1938 in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Henry and Pearl Neff. Louise spent most of her early life in Blackfoot helping with the family dairy farm while helping watch over her three brothers.
After graduating from high school, Louise attended the University of Idaho where she would meet the love of her life, Jerry. They were married on April 8, 1958. They moved to Caldwell, Idaho and then eventually Ontario, Oregon in 1962.
Louise managed the home and family, always making sure her husband and three kids were loved and cared for. As her kids grew, she became an independent contract painter and left her beautiful touch on many homes and farms in and around the Ontario area.
Because her kids and grandkids were heavily involved in athletics, she traveled many miles and spent countless days and nights cheering them on.
Louise was a devoted wife, dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother who remained involved in the community even after retirement. She loved to fish, golf, watch & attend sporting events and was an excellent gardener who passed along that special touch to her three kids. Louise's smile and always positive attitude was infectious.
The second of four children, Louise is survived by her daughter Dawn Huff (husband Jeramie/JD), sons Jeff (wife Jeanne) and Mike (wife Julia), grandchildren Jessica, Cory, Bronte, Bryceson, Graycie, twins Elyjah and Nevaeh, and great grandsons Wyatt and Jaxon. She is also survived by brothers Daniel and John Neff. She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry, baby daughter Kim, parents Henry and Pearl Neff, and brother Richard.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2026 (date tbd). In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Louise's memory and all donations will be used to fund church facility upgrades and programs for the kids of our community who want to be involved in extracurricular activities. Louise believed that every child should have the opportunity to grow, belong, believe and learn to their full potential. If donating, please send to Ontario First Church of the Nazarene c/o Louise Jorgensen Memorial Fund.
