Patricia Brewer Obituary

With love and deep appreciation for a life of service, family and adventure, we announce the passing of Patricia "Pat" Louise Brewer, who passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, at the age of 91.
Pat was born on May 28, 1934, in Jay, OK, and moved with her family to Sherwood, OR in 1939. She graduated from Sherwood High School in 1952 and soon after began working for Oliver Corporation in Portland. It was there she met Eastle Brewer, whom she married on December 5, 1952. The two shared 66 wonderful years of marriage before Eastle's passing.
The couple settled in Portland before moving to "The Mountain" near Brightwood, OR in 1959, where they raised their children in the heart of Oregon's forested beauty. Career opportunities led them to Reno, NV, then to Illinois, and ultimately to Nyssa, OR in 1978 when they purchased Nyssa Implement and built a new life in the community they would come to love dearly.
Pat found deep joy in the high desert and timber country surrounding Nyssa. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and could be found hunting, fishing, camping or even ice fishing. She was also a familiar face on the dance floor at senior dances and was a tireless advocate for her community.
Her service and leadership in Nyssa were extensive: Nyssa City Councilwoman, Nyssa Nite Rodeo committee, Nyssa Kiwanis Club president, Nyssa Senior Center board member, Volunteer for March of Dimes, Relay for Life, Thunderegg Days, Holy Rosary Hospital Auxiliary, and National Wild Turkey Federation.
Professionally, Pat had a long and successful career in banking, beginning in 1967 and retiring from US Bank in 1993.
Above all, Pat was devoted to her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eastle; her daughter, Sharon; her son, Steven; and her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Sandy (Ron) Smallwood of Nyssa and Kim Allen of Cloverdale, OR; and her son, Marvin Brewer of Tillamook, OR. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren who will carry forward her memory with love and pride.
Per Pat's request, no public service will be held. In honor of her legacy and passion for her community, donations may be made to the Nyssa Senior Center.
Pat Brewer lived with heart, strength, and a pioneer spirit. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
