Our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Blanche Elaine (Larson) St. Germain, 89 years young, born June 26, 1934, sadly passed away peacefully on August 15, 2023 at Northern Lights Nursing Home. She was the daughter of Fred and Beatrice (Tuttle) Larson and was raised in Grand View, WI. She was married to John "Jack" St. Germain for 59 years and resided in Ashland, WI.
Blanche worked for the Citizen Loan Finance Company and The Money Shop. She retired after 40 plus years at Ashland County as Secretary of Ashland County Nursing Department and also was promoted to Inspector Case worker for the Ashland Human Services Child Care/Home Day services. Her love for her job and the safety of children was unmeasurable. Whether it was her own children, grandchildren, day care children, the neighbor kids, her door was always open to share her love. No child was left out under her care.
She loved to crochet endlessly and always sharing her finished work, sewing quilting, cooking, baking, gardening and raising her seven children.
She is survived by her remaining children, Patrick (Mary), Susan Van Ornum, David (Karen), Sally (Larry), Thomas (Janet), daughter-in-law Monica St. Germain and Patty St. Germain, 15 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren, numerous special nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband John "Jack" St. Germain, loving sons John "Mike" and Bruce St. Germain, Son-in-law David Van Ornum and great grandchild Dillian Van Ornum. Parents Fred and Beatrice Larson and brothers Ervin and Dennis Larson.
Mother's wishes are a private graveside service with immediate family which will be held at a later date.

Mom, there aren't enough words to tell you how much we all loved and will miss you, sharing your love unselfishly every day, I remember what you always said in sad times!
