DONALD DEMMON Donald David Demmon, age 78, of Pevely, Missouri, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at his home. He was born May 16, 1945 in Atchison, Kansas, the son of the late Romona (nee Jordan) and TJ Picraux. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Martha (nee Robinson) Demmon of Pevely; daughter Sarah (John) Elliott of Arnold, Missouri; grandchildren Jordan, Alex, Andrew, Brooke, Kiera, Lilith and Jack; great-grandson Luka In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Brady Christopher Demmon and his brother Garold Demmon. Donald was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Union Pacific Railroad. He was a lifetime member of the Abdallah Shriners and Active Lodge #158 in Atchison, Kansas. He was also a member of Mt. Horeb Chapter #43, Washington Council #2 and Hiawatha Commandery #13. Graveside service will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials in Donald's memory are preferred to Shriner's Hospital, First United Methodist Church or local Food Pantry.
