John Meranda Obituary

JOHN WADE MARTIN MERANDA John Wade Martin Meranda, 2 years old, of Atchison, KS, passed away tragically on Monday, May 6, 2024, at his home. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Friday, May 24, 2024, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with burial to follow at 3:15 PM at Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison, KS. The family will have a celebration of life gathering following the burial at Warnock Lake. Memorials are suggested for final expenses and may be sent to the care of the funeral home. Words of comfort for the family may be left at www.beckerdyer.com. John was born November 5, 2021, the son of John Matthew Meranda and Brooke Marie Martin. John had to start as a fighter as he was prematurely born, but he soon became as strong as Hulk and was known for his dinosaur RAWR! He spent most of his days playing with his favorite motorcycle, building forts outside, calling his grandparents, working with Dad with his very own screw gun, and snuggling with Mom. John is survived by his parents, Matt and Brooke of the home, maternal grandparents, Brent and Katy Martin, Atchison, KS, paternal grandparents, John and Gail Meranda, Atchison, KS, maternal great-grandmother, Terri Nitz, paternal great grandparents Rollie and Lily Hundley, siblings, Evan Meranda, Destiney Martin, Dixie Martin, aunt and uncles, Melissa and Craig Lutz, Travis Meranda, Summer and Nikki Martin, Brett Martin, and many cousins.
