RALPH DEAN BOWEN Ralph Dean Bowen, 82, of Atchison, KS, passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Ralph was born July 25, 1943, in Willow Springs, MO, the son of Charles Ray and Hazel Elizabeth (Imane) Bowen. He attended Atchison High School. Ralph worked for Atchison Castings as a crane operator. He was a member of the United Steel Workers and enjoyed fishing, collecting, and painting cars and motorcycles. Ralph was of the Baptist faith. Ralph married Margaret Louise Bryant on November 11, 1962, in Dakota Springs, NE, she survives of the home. He is also survived by two sons, Dewayne and Jackie Bowen, Effingham, KS, Jeffrey Bowen, Atchison, KS, two daughters, Betty and Russell Gaddis, Atchison, KS, Judy and Donald Gaddis, Atchison, KS, two brothers Lynn Bowen, Atchison, KS, Dennis Bowen, St. Joseph, MO, two sisters, Joyce Overton, Elden, MO, Linda Harris, Savannah, MO, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents and four brothers, Don, Hershal, Homer, and George Bowen.
