Working with Dr. Borchert in the Department of Philosophy during the 1990's holds a special place in my heart. Don's support and encouragement were instrumental in completing my degrees at Ohio University. His philosophers were delightful, and my husband and I loved the social gatherings hosted by him and Mary Ellen at their home.
I'm so glad his life was enriched by family and writing time after he left Athens. The service last Saturday was lovely, honoring a life well-lived.
Very best memories and comfort to family and friends.
