October 28, 1989 - October 17, 2025

Jordon Keith Boyer, 35, of Georgetown, South Carolina, formally of Athens, Ohio, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his family on October 17, 2025, after an extended illness. Born in Athens, Ohio, Jordon attended Athens high school and worked in various construction and other jobs. He is known for his warm, caring nature, big blue eyes, his smile that could light up a room, and his mischievous behavior. His passions include fishing, music, baking, cooking, and spending time with his family, especially watching his sister play sports, and enjoying vacation and special moments with his older brothers Shayne and Brandon, as well as his mother Marty, he survived by his mother, Martha Boyer, a stepfather Wesley McCoy of Georgetown, South Carolina; brothers, Shayne, and Brandon (Angela) Barnhart of Athens, Ohio; sister, Laney McCoy of Georgetown, South Carolina, nephew Boen Barnhart; and a cousin Nicolas Gross; siblings, Natalie, Madison, and George Gross; and his grandmother, Kathleen Embry and several nieces, nephews, and cousins he was proceeded in death by his father, Nathan R. Gross; grandparents, William and Norma Davis Boyer of Athens, a grandfather, Farley D. Gross, and uncles James Keith Davis, and Farley R. Gross.
