Kenneth Darby Obituary

The Plains, ohio Kenneth Ray Darby, age 65, of The plains, Ohio, passed away October 24, 2022 at Riverside United Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

Kenny was born October 30, 1956 in Nelsonville, Ohio to Alfred and Etta Darby. He enjoyed reading, hiking, and his morning coffee. Most of all, he loved to just listen and sing gospel music. Kenneth was also a minister for several years.

Surviving are his children, Rachel (Elisha) Sircy, Sarah (Jason) Westfall, and Kendra (Donald) Brooks; 3 grandchildren; and sisters, Sherry (Ralph) Sabo and Joy (Bob) Roberts.

Kenny was preceded in death by parents; brother, Alfred Darby; sister, Pamela Darby.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30A.M., Saturday October 29, 2022, at the Lifepoint Pentecostals of Athens, Ohio with Pastor Barry Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio.

Calling hours will be observed 6:00-8:00P.M. on Friday October 28, 2022, at Brown Funeral Home of Murray City, Ohio; and from 9:30-10:30A.M. on Saturday October 29, 2022, at the Lifepoint Pentecostals of Athens, Ohio.
