So sorry to hear of Laurie’s passing. I had the great pleasure of being in the same math coaching training program at OSU as Laurie. We spent a lot of time together learning, sharing, and growing in a mixed schools group of math coaches. She always had a kind smile and a twinkle in her eye. My thoughts are with her family.

Laurie was the best mentor and friend I have ever had. I spent 3 years as her student teacher through CARE and we have been friends ever since. She was one of the best teachers and people I have ever known and I’m am deeply saddened by this news. My deepest condolences to Dan and the family along with everyone who had the joy of knowing Laurie.

Laurie was a wonderful teacher and mother to her family. Sending hugs to her family who will surely miss her. She will be joining my best friend and former Federal Hocking teacher Pat Carpenter. May they rest together in a heavenly place above us looking down at all those they loved so much.
